700편이 넘는 기나긴 여정 동안 조슈아와 함께해 주셔서 진심으로 감사드립니다.
쓰는 동안 글을 쓰는 제 스스로도 무척이나 즐거웠습니다.
힘든 일 또한 많았지만 제게는 무척이나 뜻깊은 작품이었습니다.
오래 연재한 만큼 많은 일들이 있었습니다.
살던 집도 잃어 보고, 직장도 사직하고, 정말 죽기 직전까지 아파 보기도 했습니다.
그런 시간들로 인해, 끝까지 내 곁을 지켜 주는 사람들이 얼마나 소중한지도 다시금 깨달을 수 있었습니다.
여러 우여곡절로 작품에 신경을 쏟을 수 없었고, 시간이 지난 뒤 그런 제 부족함이 너무나 큰 후회로 다가왔습니다.
해서, 계약된 신작까지 미루며 수개월간 꼬박 밤을 새워 작품에 대한 전반적인 리메이크를 진행하기도 했습니다.
그럼에도 모든 분들이 만족할 만한 글이 될 수는 없겠지만, 못난 저를 믿고 끝까지 함께해 주신 독자님들께는 이 자리를 빌어 거듭 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다.
제가 겪은 모든 악재들이 여러분들의 액땜이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.
